ALDA

ALDA is an organization that brings together over 300 members (including local authorities, associations of local authorities and civil society organizations) from over 40 countries.

Most of ALDA’s work is based on the decentralized multilateral cooperation method. This method involves a multi-stakeholder approach, which focuses on lasting partnerships between local authorities and non-governmental organizations. These partnerships create positive synergy and ensure that common goals are achieved in a successful manner.

Today, ALDA is an important factor in the field of local democracy, active citizenship and cooperation between local authorities and civil society.
